St. Renan Market

Last Sat. We visited the farmer's market at St. Renan, a village about 20 min from here. It was amazing the selections of cheese, pâté, meat, fish, olives and many other things. They had a little Fete in the town square and we were entertained by a wonderful men's chorus, "Les Marin's du Bout du Monde"----the Sailors at the End of the Earth. They were about 20 beautifully harmonized voices accompanied by some flutes, guitars and drums. They sang wonderful Breton folk songs and sea chanties. Schooner Fare look out! Folks there dressed in Medieval gear and the building and flowers in the Square were wonderful. A great day!
