We were fortunate to see his lovely home/museum situated on the banks of the Oslo fjord which is left the way it was when he died. Very interesting and quite a housekeeper for a Norwegian bachelor.

Roald Amundsen Museum/Home
Roald Amundsen was Very famous Norwegian explorer and adventurer. He led the first successful expedition to the South Pole 100 years ago in 1912. He also discovered the Northwest Passage across Canada and led other amazing expeditions.
We were fortunate to see his lovely home/museum situated on the banks of the Oslo fjord which is left the way it was when he died. Very interesting and quite a housekeeper for a Norwegian bachelor.
