July 6. Visit to Bodo (buda)

Basically the last two day aboard the ship have been very cloudy as you will see in the below photos and a little rainy There are lilacs just coming into bloom.....just like Maine in May. The lovely mountains are shrouded in fog but the natives are quite friendly.

We wandered around the town for an hour getting supplies for our three days in our seaside cabin in Lofoten. Next stop. We the had lunch at a charming little Italian spot in Boda. You will see the shot of the interior and evidence of good pizza.

I can't figure out how to label my photos as yet. Can you find the Viking and the chess set in the photos below? The last photos are of our ship, Midnatsol, leaving Bodo harbor and heading out to the open ocean and the Lofoten Islands about 3 hours away. Glad that it isn't too rough and windy. Just enough to make you know you are in Norway.

The sun is scheduled to return. Let's hope so. Love from the Coast of Norway. Ann
PS. Gus is still cruising Oslo fjord. No news is good news I suppose.
